About Roamori
Japan travel is incredible. Planning it shouldn’t be complicated.
Roamori is a Japan travel planning and decision platform built to help travelers understand their options and make better decisions before and during their trip.
Instead of overwhelming travelers with endless lists, Roamori focuses on the questions that actually make Japan travel confusing: Which train should I take? Do I need a rail pass? Which station is better? What IC card should I use? Where should I stay? And which experiences are worth fitting into my itinerary?
We help you decide, not just browse
There is already an enormous amount of information about Japan online. Roamori’s goal isn’t to publish more information for the sake of it. We organize practical travel information around decisions.
Our guides explain the options, trade-offs and practical details that matter to travelers. As Roamori grows, our planning tools will make that guidance increasingly personal — helping travelers compare routes, transportation options, destinations, accommodations and experiences based on their actual trip.
How we research
We aim to base factual travel information on reliable, preferably first-party sources such as railway operators, tourism authorities and official destination resources.
Information that can change — including fares, passes, schedules and travel rules — is reviewed and dated where appropriate.
Travel information changes, so travelers should confirm time-sensitive details with the relevant operator or official source before traveling.
Who is behind Roamori?
Roamori was created by H. Tobias with a simple goal: make planning a trip to Japan easier to understand and easier to act on.
What began as a better way to answer practical travel questions is being developed into a broader Japan travel platform combining researched guides, decision tools and trip-planning resources.
